The Mexican U12s boys’ team entered the competition in 2001. These little stars have already won the competition 3 times! They have also received the titles of best scorer in 2001, best goalkeeper in 2013 and best player in 2017. The Mexican players are formidable opponents since they have won two World Champion titles in 3 years.

The enthusiasm of this population for this sport remains legendary. The Mexican football team made its mark in international competition when it participated in the 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam. Repeated finalists in the World Cup, they returned to success at the 2012 Olympic Games where they won the gold medal.
