Home ground advantage worked for Keidebees Primary School from Upington who are the Northern Cape team that will now go on to play in the DNC National Finals, this after they beat Kareeville Primary School 2 - 0 on penalties. Upington in the Northern Cape will come to life tomorrow! The Danone Nations Cup SA road show will be in town where 5 teams will compete for the Provincial Champions title. Entrance is free for those who want to come and watch future stars in action and you will get Yoghurt and Yogi-Sip as well!

The Canadian team participating selected to go to Poland in September will be fielding a girl as their goalkeeper. When we were in Spain last year the 3 Canadian girls in the team were awsome players. Beware all other teams. The Canadian girls mean business.

This weekend's Norhtern Cape Provincial Final will be held at the Paballelo Stadium in Upington. The address is King Street, Pabello Upington. GPS coordinates are S28 26.807 E21 13.498

The Italian team is at the same stage in their qualifications as South Africa. I wonder if we will get a chance to play them at some stage this year. They have not been as successful in this tournament as their National team has been historically in the Fifa World Cup.
