Algeria at the Danone Nations Cup
The Algerian team joined the Danone Nations Cup in 2003. Each year, thousands of children aged 10-12 who participate in the qualifications to try and represent Algeria at this international tournament. More than just a tournament, the DNC allows young Algerians to have an unforgettable experience and to share the field with players from all around the world.

Club Athlétique Liberté d’Oran is the first Algerian club, founded in 1897. It wasn’t until Algeria’s independence in 1962 that the first national championship emerged. Football is the national sport in Algeria. More than 1 million registered members practice this sport each year. The Algerian’s passion for football is known around the world. At each competition, it’s a real passion that grasps young and old, both in Algeria and also in the Algerian diaspora.
