Hello all young footballers. The Danone Nations Cup is a tournament that is close to my heart as I remember clearly being a 12 year old with a passion for football. I grew up in a single parent home. My mother was a nurse and worked long hours which meant that I could go with my older brother, Mark, to the local park in Durban North and we would play soccer all afternoon. It was at this age that I developed the love for the game. Come on everyone, get your school to register for the 2012 Danone Nations Cup. WOW, I wish that I could have participated in such a tournament when I was 12. The best part is that you could get to go and play against 40 other countries in Poland! What a fantastic opportunity!! The 2012 Danone Nations Cup in South Africa is about to start. Registrations will open next week. As soon as we have the registration forms we will post them on Facebook. Please follow the instructions carefully. We would like all Primary Schools in South Africa to play in the event.
